Draft for review. This policy was written for this preview of Jordan’s site. Jordan Avery and Example Realty should review it, and have it checked if needed, before the site goes live.
Who we are
This website belongs to Jordan Avery, a sample agent made up for this design preview. On a live site this section names the agent, their license and their brokerage.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use the contact or price-opinion form, we receive your name, phone number, email address, the property address if you give one, and your message.
- When you call, text or message us. Your phone number and anything you choose to tell us.
- Basic usage data. If website analytics are turned on, we see anonymous information such as pages viewed and which buttons were tapped. It doesn’t identify you by name.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and help with buying, selling or renting a home.
- To prepare a price opinion you asked for.
- To follow up about your inquiry by phone, text or email.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency depends on your conversation with us. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of buying or selling a home.
Who else may see it
We share information only when needed to help you, for example with Example Realty (Jordan’s brokerage), a lender, title company or other professional you ask us to connect you with, or when the law requires it. This site also uses a few outside services that have their own privacy policies:
- Calendly, if you book a call.
- YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode), if you play a video.
- OpenStreetMap, if you open the map of past sales.
- The form service that delivers website messages to Jordan’s inbox.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while we’re working with you and afterwards for as long as real estate record-keeping rules require. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, at any time. Email jordan@example.com or call (919) 555-0142.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
